A handful of people who had shown most enthusiasm for attempting a ‘100 mile meal’ thought they’d better try and test the idea before going wider with it. They got together recently and created a tasty 4-course meal made mainly from local ingredients. The food was delicious and the discussion on local food was instructive and entertaining. The plan is to repeat this event regularly and to broaden the scope if we can find suitable venues and ingredients.
