Why Use Real Nappies?
Using real nappies can save you around £600 compared to disposable nappies. The savings will mount up if you use the same nappies again on subsequent children. Need we say more? If the cost benefits haven't convinced you, how about environmental issues: Every baby will have around 5,000 nappy changes during his or her time in nappies. That's 5,000 disposable nappies into landfill per child, which equates to around 3 billion nappies per year in the UK. Alternatively, with real nappies you will use around 20 nappies from birth to potty training. Real nappies are made from mainly natural fabrics, whilst disposables are made up of paper pulp, super absorbent chemicals, plastics and adhesives. Additionally, many of our nappies are made in the UK and all of them can be washed with your normal household laundry at temperatures as low as 30°. Soaking is not necessary, making them even more environmentally friendly. So, that's a cost saving of around £600; plus 5,000 nappies not going into landfill. Anything else... Did we mentioned that all our nappies feel great and fit fantastically?
