Looking to keep the family busy over the summer holidays but want something that is both educational and fun? Sustainable Carlisle are delighted to introduce and launch our new activity packs!

These activity packs aim to teach children and young people about environmentalism in a creative and enjoyable manner. There are three different packs suited for varying levels of experience and knowledge, which ensures everyone, from ages 4 to 24, will be able to find something that interests them.

We’re coming back to the farmer’s market! 😁 After a long stretch away during this peculiar 18 months, we are really excited to be able to return back to the farmer’s market (in it’s lovely new location on the Cathedral grounds) with our regular freestall next month, Saturday 3rd July.

We are looking for volunteers to help out on the stall, as only a few hours of your time will be a step towards a world of less waste as well as an opportunity to meet like minded people and to create engaging discussion with the general public. 👀

Due to remaining covid-19 safe, we are looking to keep too a volunteer rota to ensure the stall doesn’t get over crowded. If you are interested in getting involved please contact katie@sustainablecarlisle.org with what time you are available.
