Community Garden and Incredible Edible

It was a difficult growing season 2018 due to the very long cold winter followed by a late spring then very hot summer. {Climate Chaos ?} A small grant was made available to us from CAfS some of which was enthusiastically spent of Heritage Seed and tools. Garden size has been halved  and put down to perennial fruit bushes also due to difficulties getting volunteers. We said goodbye to three garden stalwarts Jenna who went back to France, Ben SC General Secretary, who went travelling and Rowan who left University to join Sea Shepherd, they will be much missed. The garden was put to bed for the winter and we’re working on ideas for next season and maybe some Incredible Edible project.
